sascu E-Transfer
SASCU Interac e-Transfer limits and fees in 2026: free transfers, per-transaction and daily limits.
What Banking Actually Delivers: E Transfer
- Interac e-Transfer from this credit union is free with no monthly cap on quantity.
- Standard daily limit is $5,000; the app allows $10,000 after strong verification.
- Most transfers arrive in under 30 minutes; overnight delivery is rare.
- Money transfers to any Canadian credit union or bank account.
How It Works
Spend 1 minute per transfer: pick the recipient phone or email, enter the amount, and confirm.
E-Transfer uses the Interac network: money moves from sascu to any Canadian account using a phone number, e-mail, or mobile device. The recipient receives a link and their bank credentials complete the deposit.
Recipients who miss the transfer window can ask the sender to resend the link. Members can cancel an undelivered transfer within 30 days from the app.
Limits and Fees
the platform's free e-transfer limit is $5,000 per day, rising to $10,000 with a verified file.
Standard limits: $5,000 per day, $10,000 per week. Adding strong ID verification to the profile raises the daily cap to $10,000. There is no transfer fee of any kind, and no monthly transaction cap.
For amounts above the caps, a wire transfer at flat $25 is the correct route, or a bill-pay payment for institutions that accept it.

- Per month cap: None.
- Fee: Free.
Free transfer limits do NOT apply to recipient accounts outside the Canadian Interac network. We capped e-transfers at 20 a month at launch; removing the cap increased member satisfaction without a fee recovery problem.

Auto-deposit removes the security question. Accepted money lands within 30 minutes, most times in seconds. This service does NOT apply to transfers above $10,000, which must route through wire instructions. Send to your own alternate email to protect against front of dark patterns.
