Every $1 of spend earns 1 cent, credited monthly as a statement credit.
Cashback is calculated monthly, capped nowhere, and shows up as a statement credit or a deposit to your savings account. For grocery stores and restaurant spending there are occasional partner offers that add bonuses.
Members who pair the card with a chequing account are eligible for the monthly 'bill-pay bonus', which credits an extra 0.5% on 3 chosen payees each month.
